The NC State University Division of Academic and Student Affairs (DASA) Marketing and Communications Department aims to be the one-stop-shop for comprehensive, strategic communications connecting the departments of DASA to their audience. Using data-driven marketing and communication strategies, we create a portfolio of print and digital communication materials harnessing professional graphic, video, web, and narrative techniques to we tell the story of DASA and promote the success of the whole student.
The Marketing and Communications Office was founded in 2014 with the hiring of its first director. The office remained a one-person shop until 2017 when the communications staff from Univeristy Housing and Student Involvement were merged to form a unit that was capable of serving the entire division. Since then, a video producer/photographer and a program coordinator joined the team.
