Quick Tips

Social Media Judging

Once ensuring that all of the requirements are met (#GivingPack + @NCState + Program Mentioned), posts are judged based on creativity. This includes:

  1. How unique and creative the entry is
  2. Amount of effort put into the post
  3. If/how the entry ties back to the college/unit the person is supporting

Frequently Asked Questions

No, do not send emails about Day of Giving. You can include a blurb at the bottom of a newsletter, but mass emails to your audience is a no. The university is already sending a bunch of emails, so we don’t want to bombard them more.

Yes, if you have a small group of highly involved alumni, students or friends, you can reach out to them directly to ask for support.

Please see the suggested social media timeline for how frequently to post on Day of Giving.
