Bio

Steph (she/her) has 15 years of professional marketing and communications experience in the nonprofit sector, tourist attractions, visual arts and higher education.

As the marketing manager for the Division of Academic and Student Affairs (DASA), she serves as a project manager for the Marketing and Communications department and works with DASA’s departments to lead or assist with communications initiatives and provide marketing strategy, guidance and support with a focus on University College.

Prior to joining NC State in 2022, Steph led the marketing and communications efforts at multiple organizations including the Asheville Art Museum, Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, Green Bay Botanical Garden, Fox Valley Humane Association, and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Studio Arts & Craft Centre. She developed and implemented multimedia marketing campaigns and project management strategies, and was responsible for budgets, brand and website management, copywriting and editing, advertising, media buying, social media, public relations, graphic design, photography, fundraising and more in various capacities over the years.

Steph is a 2010 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication, a B.F.A in photography, and Digital Arts and Culture Certificate.
