Pete is the Director of Facilities Planning and Management for the Division of Academic and Student Affairs at North Carolina State University. His responsibilities include the facilities maintenance, renovations, sustainability efforts, and new construction of the Division’s buildings. Pete leads the DASA Facilities team comprised of 70 highly skilled and licensed staff that are integral in managing 3 million square feet.

Prior to joining NC State in 2008, Pete worked as a licensed civil engineering consultant for multiple firms based in Florida and North Carolina. Pete also served in the United States Army Corps of Engineers leading and executing operations in active duty deployments.

Pete earned his Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1997 and received his PE engineering license in 2002.
