Bio

Jameco McKenzie, M.Ed. (He/Him/His) works in University Housing as a Residence Life Coordinator and also provides support and direction for several living-learning villages on East Campus. He has worked within DASA since January of 2019 and is originally from Nassau, The Bahamas. He completed his undergraduate education at Methodist University and his graduate education at Salem State University. He is enrolled in a doctoral program in Organizational Leadership at Gardner Webb. He is very passionate about developing student leaders, organizational excellence, critical consciousness, cultivating equitable communities, and supporting underrepresented students through mentorship. He is excited to work with and advocate for your needs as staff members within DASA because he believes that our division’s mission of transforming lives and inspiring student success can only be realized through partnerships and the tireless efforts of DASA staff members.
