This year’s Indigenous People’s Day event will center the power of Narrative with featured speaker and Native American Storyteller, Nora Dial-Stanley. Through hearing stories and experiences from tribal leaders, students, and young alumni, the hope is to not only increase understanding and competency for all native people groups, but to ultimately ensure that the presence of current native peoples on NC State’s campus is felt and acknowledged.
