The Enterprise Zoom implementation was coordinated by DELTA through a collaboration with NC State Extension, NC State University Libraries, and The Friday Institute. Representatives from all groups work together to support the campus-wide use of Zoom. Follow these instructions to protect your Zoom meetings.

How to Log In to Zoom at NC State

Before joining a Zoom meeting or webinar, it is best to first log in to Zoom with your NC State account by visiting ncsu.zoom.us.

You should see the login prompt below. Choose Shibboleth Login:

Logging in From Zoom.us

If you find your self at zoom.us, always log in with SSO:

Enter ncsu when prompted for company domain:

You will then be prompted to log in and 2-factor just as you do via the MyPack Portal. Once you are logged in, go back to the original email or calendar invitation and click the Zoom link.

How to Log In to the Zoom app on Your Phone

If you are logging in with the Zoom app on your phone, following these steps:

  1. Click Sign In.

2. Tap SSO.

Type ncsu into the field.

You will then be prompted to log in and 2-factor just as you do via the MyPack Portal. Once you are logged in, go back to the original email or calendar invitation and click the Zoom link.

Configuring the Zoom Extension

The Zoom Chrome extension can be configured to match NC State’s default security settings. Once the extension is installed, click on the blue Zoom icons in the upper right-hand corner of Chrome. Then click the gear icon.

Once you click the gear icon, configure the Zoom extension as follows:
