Your DASA Technology Strategic Partner must assist you with all software purchases. Software, in this case, refers to both installed applications and web-based applications. NC State University requires that all software be evaluated for security and End User License Agreement (EULA) compliance regardless of cost. This is particularly true for software that will store data, irrespective of the data classification.
As a result, software purchasing should afford 4-6 weeks for a full review in coordination with the NC State Office of Information Technology (OIT).
You are encouraged to review the list of approved software by visiting:

- Google Marketplace Apps: https://software.ncsu.edu/software-licensing-management/clickwraps/google-addons/
- Reviewed IT Purchases: https://software.ncsu.edu/it-purchase-compliance/it-purchase-report/
If the software package you want to purchase is listed on any of these lists, then no review is necessary, and your DASA Technology Strategic Partner can assist immediately.
