Navigate to go.ncsu.edu/self-service and select the Jabber SoftPhone devices on which you’d like to access Jabber. Click the plus to add the service to the device. It will turn into a check once you’ve selected it.
Jabber is already installed on your university-owned device, so after the OIT Unified Communications team handles the backend settings, you’ll be able to start using the service right away!
On your personal device, you’ll have to install the Jabber software client, which can be found here: https://go.ncsu.edu/ciscojabber
