Duo Security adds two-factor authentication to services at NC State such as Google Workspace, MyPack Portal, WolfWare, and many other online services. Note: Generic and Alumni email-only accounts use Google 2-Step Verification.
You can generate temporary Duo or Google codes by visiting the 2FA Bypass Code page. This method works even if you do not have your device or your phone is lost, broken, or has a dead battery. If you continue to have problems, contact the NC State Help Desk at 919.515.HELP (4357) or help.ncsu.edu.
