What is the offboarding process for a departing employee?

The DASA Employee Action Notification (DEAN) process was revamped in December 2022 so that your DASA HR Partner starts the process once the employee action has been filed. An email is sent to open a request with the DASA Technology Service Desk which will in turn send an automated email to the employee’s supervisor (or designee identified by the DASA HR Partner) requesting more information.

The request email will continue to notify the supervisor (or designee) every two days until it is completed. The requested information is filled into a playbook that is then sent to the DASA Technology Service Desk and appropriate shared services teams to assist with the employee offboarding.

If any questions arise during offboarding, the Service Desk analyst who is managing your specific offboard will coordinate and update via the original ServiceNow Incident.
