It’s time to complete the required annual certification of leave balances through WolfTime. Below are instructions for this process. This applies to all employees who earned leave in 2023. Please complete all steps by the deadlines referenced below.
How to Certify Leave Balances
Employee Instructions
Employees must submit outstanding leave requests for 2023 before January 12th. Don’t delay, leave certification can’t happen until all requests are entered and approved!
Employees can initiate the 2023 leave certification process after their supervisor approves their outstanding 2023 leave. The deadline to complete this process is January 24, 2024.
If a Supervisor denies an employee’s leave certification, the certification process will be canceled, and employees will receive an email explaining the reason for the cancellation. Employees must work with their Supervisor and DASA’s Leave Coordinator (Tammie Maurice) to make any necessary corrections before Certifying again.
Supervisor Instructions
Review and approve/deny all 2023 employee absence requests no later than January 19, 2024 (earlier is better, employees aren’t able to submit their certification if leave for 2023 hasn’t been approved).
Review and approve all their employees’ leave certifications before January 30, 2024.
Please don’t delay approvals, we will be locked out of the 2023 certification process after January!
IMPORTANT: all 2023 pending leave requests must be approved before completing the certification process.
