Prepare Now for Leave Certification

Prepare today for the required annual leave certification process.

Prepare now for the 2024 leave certification process

Although the 2024 leave certification process takes place after employees return to work in January, there are actions that both employees and supervisors should take now to prepare and ensure a smooth process.

Employees should start by reviewing leave used in 2024 and ensuring that all leave used so far this year has been entered in Wolftime.

All employees should also note that the University is closed on Monday, December 30th; however, this is not a holiday and leave must be used. The only types of leave that can be used on this day are annual leave, personal leave, bonus leave, special bonus leave, or comp time. More information about the University’s holiday schedule can be found here.

Supervisors should review leave requests for 2024 and follow up with employees who have not submitted any leave already used this year.

Employees may initiate the 2024 leave certification process only after all leave has been entered and approved. Please finalize all time and leave upon returning to work in 2025.

Look for further communication from DASA Human Resources in early January with final deadlines. In the meantime, please review the guides below and feel free to contact Tammie Maurice, leave specialist in DASA Human Resources with any concerns.
