NC State Ranked Among Best Employers for Diversity

Forbes Magazine released their 2018 list of the 250 best employers for diversity in America.  NC State, ranked 100th, was the only institution for higher education to make the list in North Carolina.

Forbes worked with research firm Statista to survey 30,000 U.S. employees in August 2017.  Proactive communication about diversity was also considered.  Only organizations with at least 1,000 employees were eligible for consideration.  Forbes pointed out that multiple studies have shown that organizations with more diverse teams have stronger financial performance.
