Google Quota Deadline Approaching! Oct. 25th

Google Quota Deadline Approaching!

The deadline for Google storage quota enforcement is coming up next month. To ensure a smooth transition, we ask everyone to review their Google accounts and ensure they’re ready to meet the new limits by October 25th.

Key Dates to Remember:

  • September 25th: Deadline to delete any unnecessary files in your Gmail, Google My Drive, and Google Shared Drives. Remember, it takes 30 days for items in your trash to be permanently deleted.
  • October 25th: New quota limits go into effect for all DASA faculty and staff.

New Quota Limits:

  • Faculty & Staff Google Accounts (Email, Attachments, Google My Drive): 100GB

  • Google Generic Accounts: 5GB

We’re almost there!

Most DASA accounts are already within the new limits. Let’s work together to ensure everyone is ready for the university-wide quota changes this fall.
